Curriculum – Master’s Program in Computer Science

The curriculum evaluation of the Master's Program in Computer Science at Universitas Lampung is conducted to ensure that the implemented curriculum aligns with the rapid advancements in information technology and the needs of society and the job market. This evaluation includes a review of the curriculum structure, course content, and teaching methods, while also considering input from various stakeholders.

The curriculum development is guided by the following national regulations:

  • Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 44 of 2015 on National Standards for Higher Education.

  • Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 73 of 2013 on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI).

  • Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020 on National Standards for Higher Education.

In addition, feedback from alumni, employers, and students plays a crucial role in designing both core and elective courses, as well as in developing learning processes that are research-oriented and based on current technologies.

The curriculum is designed with consideration of the following aspects:

  • Input: the academic quality of prospective students, faculty qualifications and competencies (including expertise in up-to-date ICT fields), and the availability of infrastructure such as computer laboratories, internet access, and supporting software.

  • Process: the quality of lecture delivery, programming and systems practicums, research-based projects, and academic activities such as seminars and colloquiums.

  • Output: cumulative grade point average (GPA), average study duration, and the percentage of on-time graduation.

Curriculum evaluation is carried out periodically to ensure that the Master's Program in Computer Science produces graduates who are competent, responsive to technological developments, and competitive at both national and international levels.
