Curriculum Evaluation of the Master of Computer Science Study Program

The curriculum evaluation of the Master of Computer Science Study Program at the University of Lampung is conducted to ensure that the implemented curriculum remains relevant to scientific and technological developments, as well as the needs of society and industry. This evaluation includes a review of the curriculum structure, course content, and teaching methods, while considering input from various stakeholders.

The curriculum development refers to the following national regulations:

  • Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education No. 44 of 2015 on National Standards for Higher Education.

  • Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 73 of 2013 on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI).

  • Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020 on National Standards for Higher Education.

Feedback from alumni, graduate users, and current students also serves as an important consideration in the design of core and elective courses, as well as in developing adaptive and outcome-based learning processes.

The curriculum is designed by considering the following aspects:

  • Input: quality of prospective students, qualifications of lecturers, and availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure.

  • Process: quality of lectures, laboratory and research activities, and other academic engagements.

  • Output: cumulative GPA, study duration, and on-time graduation rate.
