PROCEDURE
Students can graduate from the study program with the requirement that the minimum number of credits is 144 credits where the weight of credits for the thesis is 6 credits. In the first semester, there is a package of credits received by students as many as 24 credits, for the burden of student credits is further determined based on student performance. Students with low GPA performance are limited to the number of credits that can be taken. Conversely, if students with high GPA perform, then the student can take the maximum number of credits that can be taken in each semester. In general, undergraduate programs at the University of Lampung are designed to be completed within four academic years and the maximum length of study is limited to seven years.
Determination of the burden of credits in each course is obtained based on several indicators, including the results of discussions with responsible peer groups and the results of professional association discussions. The student burden on each credit taken has been regulated in the Rector’s Regulation of the University of Lampung Number 19 of 2020 concerning Academic Regulations attached to Appendix X3, where each credit is taken by students is for a face-to-face duration of 50 Minutes / Week / Semester, Structured Assignment 60 Minutes / Week / Semester and Independent Learning 60 Minutes / Sunday / Semester. The student load on each credit is no problem because the curriculum has been arranged in such a way as to adjust the program level study load. In addition, the burden of student credits is also regulated in academic regulations by student achievement in the previous semester (GPA) to show students’ abilities.
