Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the University of Lampung has opened the Computer Science Study Program under its PSDKU (Off-Campus Study Program Unit) in Way Kanan. As of 2025, this program already has two student cohorts.  

The Computer Science PSDKU Way Kanan campus is located in Blambangan Umpu, Way Kanan Regency. Travel from Bandar Lampung can be done by train. If departing around 6:30 AM, you will arrive at Blambangan Umpu Railway Station at approximately 9:45 AM. From there, the journey continues by two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicle, taking about 20–25 minutes. A simulation of this final leg of the route can be viewed here.
