Programme Education Objectives

The strategic goals of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at the University of Lampung (Unila) are as follows:

  1. To produce graduates who are able to keep up with the developments of computer science specifically and science and technology in general, who are able to work and compete in the national and international job market, and who are able to continue their studies to higher levels of education.
  2. To increase the program’s contribution to the quality of human resources, environmental conservation, the development of science and technology, and education.
  3. To improve the quality of computer science education and research.
  4. To promote the growth of the field of computer science so that it plays a greater role in national development.

Graduate Profile

Determination of the Undergraduate Programme in Computer Science graduate profile is based on a comprehensive study related to the study programme vision and mission, APTIKOM recommendation, external dynamics in the form of job opportunities in the industry, as well as the policies prevailing nationally and internationally. As regards to these aspects, the graduate profile is determined as shown in Table X, which will be followed by formulating the learning outcomes.

5Database AdministratorA database administrator is someone who is responsible for managing a company’s databases. They have the ability to organize and optimize databases to function efficiently, as well as ensure the security and integrity of data.
6Intelligence System AnalystAn intelligence system analyst is someone who has the ability to analyze artificial intelligence systems and develop solutions to improve their performance. They have the ability to understand how artificial intelligence systems work and identify areas that can be enhanced.
